Hilal Institutions run by Bangalore South Welfare Trust ®- works on the concept, that Education is our responsibility and we are accountable for all acts of omission and commissions on the Day of Judgment.

Hilal Schools is situated at Dargah Mohalla on Old Madras Road. The formation of this institution follows an event in the life of Mr. Shamsulla.

Presently the Schools is running in two premises, one for the lower primary, higher primary and middle school run, and a Newly Constructed building with Modern facilities where the classes for the High School are conducted. All in all around 650 students mostly belonging to the backward and Most backward strata of society study in the school. One thing to note is that most of the students here are first generation students of their families.

Hilal Pre School

Learning through play is fundamental to the philosophy of learning at Hilal Kindergarten. We recognize that play is an essential element in the development of young children, providing situations where they control the events and construct knowledge. Important conceptual, social, and language skills are developed during these stages. Through play they explore their environment, learn to deal with problems, and learn to work within a group.

Hilal Primary & Higher Primary School

Our aim in the Primary Years is to provide children with the very best education and support to deepen and nurture their interests, within an environment that is welcoming, safe and happy. We believe that learning is for life and that the learner is at the heart of everything we do. The children are encouraged to be active and to learn in cooperation with others.
We are fortunate to have an enthusiastic team of teachers who are there to support children during their learning journey with us. It never ceases to amaze us how much the children achieve as they move from Pre-kindergarten through to Grade 5 – how much they grow, not just physically but also emotionally.
In the Primary Years, we very much feel that we lay the important foundations for the young adults that Hilal children go on to become.
